Biography of Aleksandr Drewchin

Aleksandr Drewchin b. 1949 Moscow, USSR. He is currently an artist living in New York City. He graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical Institute in 1971 with a BFA. Exhibitions include group shows at The Fine Arts Museum of Long Island, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Baruch College Art Gallery, The New Museum of Contemporary Art Contemporary Russian Arts Center, and Danceteria in New York, as well as shows in Newark, New Jersey, Washington DC and St. Petersburg, Russia.

He is father of two students at Wyoming Seminary.
