Ms. Alterman's Gemology Tour for 4th Graders!

The Top Ten budding 4th grade gemologists will join Ms. Alterman for a day of Gem discovery around Los Angeles. Starting at the Beilenson home in Encino, the children will be driven to the Los Angeles Natural History Museum, Gem and Mineral Hall where Ms. Alterman will lead the children on an information-packed tour of the more than 2,000 spectacular specimens that comprise what is considered to be one of the finest exhibits of gems and minerals in the world. Following lunch in the Rose Garden outside the Museum, the group will be off to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium to view a wide range of jewelry and gems on display at the International Gem and Jewelry Show! Finally, the group will return to the Beilenson home for snacks, wrap-up presentation and a gem-filled goodie bag. Package Includes: Round trip transportation from Encino to the Natural History Museum and Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Lunch and snacks, admission to International Gem and Jewelry Show, Gem goodie bag, and Priceless knowledge and insight to the world of gems from our very own Gemologist - Ms. Alterman.
