A jazz song titled "Polka Dots and Moonbeams", which was Frank Sinatra's first hit recorded with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, inspired this piece. There are four colors on the cabinet: blue, yellow, red and green. The blue and red are opposite colors so the blue side has red polka dots and vice versa. The green and yellow are opposite colors so they are in the same pattern as the other colors. The front side of the cabinet door is all the colored polka dots on white; the back side colors are inverted from the front side of the door. The storage cabinet is finely crafted from solid oak. The dimensions are approximately 16"W x 14"D x 48"H.
