Description
Celebrating more than three decades of Lucinda Childs' sought-after creative vision, UCLA Live presents a revival of the acclaimed choreographer's visually arresting "Dance," originally created in 1979 and set to music by distinguished composer philip glass. "Dance" is performed in striking minimalist style against images of a film by reknowned conceptual artist Sol LeWitt. One of modern dance's most lauded choreographers, Childs wields a unique style that harnesses inherently simple movement into patterns that become mesmerizingly intricate.
UCLA Live is pleased to offer two (2) tickets for the Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 8pm performance of Lucinda Childs' "Dance" at Royce Hall.
The winner's name will be placed on the Will Call list. The tickets may be picked up the night of show at the Royce Hall Will Call desk starting at 7pm.
