“The Anarchist,” is the story of a female inmate, who was once part of a Weather Underground-like group and is now pleading for parole before the prison’s female governor. “The Anarchist” world premiere is in London this fall.
Best known as a playwright, Mamet has won a Pulizer Prize, and Tony nominations for "Glengarry Glen Ross" (1984) and "Speed -the-Plow" (1988). As a screenwriter, he received Oscar nominations for "The Verdict "(1982) and "Wag the Dog" (1997).
