Choose 1 week for either a boy or a girl, aged 9-14, for one of Tower’s Summer Programs, Video at Tower OR Science at Tower.

SCIENCE AT TOWER provides young people with an opportunity to have a hands-on experience in science and technology.  The program explores the four elements – earth, air, fire, and water – and provides opportunities for hands-on fun with nearby ponds, woods, and wetlands.  Learn basic cartography and architecture; refine technology skills; dabble in physics and chemistry; mess around with bugs, snakes, and frogs; and explore artful science as “muggles in disguise.”

VIDEO AT TOWER provides young people with an opportunity to have a hands-on experience with sophisticated video equipment in the production of their own video.  Participants will play with different ways of shooting, special effects, manipulation of light and sound, and layout of software. Learn basic operations of a camera, as well as different angles and ways to film a scene.  Teams will brainstorm script and storyboard it for shooting.
