Glenlivet is one of those distilleries whose malts improve with age. This fantastic scotch whisky is an elegant, intricate, sophisticated malt.

Glenlivet is aged and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, Elgin, Scotland. The label is a replica of the original Glenlivet label. Colour: Golden amber.

Nose (without water): Sherry influences are present, a licorice and almond edge come to the fore with a slight fruitiness remniscent of cooked figs. Palate (without water): Initially very spicy, like chillies. A creamy texture and milk chocolate notes follow as exotic fruit notes emerge.

Nose (with water): Very fruity, like ripe bananas and melon. A strong Sherry influence. Palate (with water): A hint of spices including black pepper, also fresh apple and a hint of chocolate. Finish (with water): Long and smooth.
