Description
A month of Full-time membership to the Brooklyn Writers Space. The Brooklyn Writers Space is a communal quiet space for writers of all genres.
All spaces provide writers with a desk, a lamp and a chair on a first come first serve basis. Coffee is always on hand, as well as provide your own paper printing, wi-fi(if you are trying to get away from the internet we can help you with that too), storage ($30 per quarter), and kitchenette lounge areas for socializing.
The Brooklyn Writers Space was founded by playwrights Scott Adkins and Erin Courtney in 2002. Since opening, the Writers Space has served over 700 writers by providing a professional, respectful, and quiet environment for writers.
Special Instructions
To apply for MEMBERSHIP, writers must submit an application, resume, and three professional references which may include agents, publishers, editors, and associates who can speak to the applicant's seriousness.
Writers need not be published but must show serious intent.
This item is valid for our Park Slope location or our Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens location. If you wish to continue your membershipo at the end of your month then you will join officially by paying the one-time initiation fee of $65 and a pro-rated membership fee for the rest of the quarter.
