You and your child can learn how to draw, and become more creative at Janet Jacobs studio in San Anselmo! The lessons are geared toward anyone aged six or seven and on.  This is also a nice possibility for a mother/child,father/child date.

In my work with students, both adults and children, I like to create a safe, easy, and friendly environment for learning. My students begin their study by developing the technical skills of making art. I believe in starting with a good foundation of working from real life; in learning how to draw and sculpt what one sees. This can be a very simple and straightforward process.

Janet Jacobs has been a practicing studio artist in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1982. She has a Masters degree from Mills College, Oakland, California, in sculpture and drawing, and a BFA from The California College of Arts and Crafts in drawing and printmaking. She also has a teaching credential from Sonoma State University. Janet has been teaching both privately and in art studios and schools since 1988.
