Gourmet lunch from Campo di Bocce in Livermore (this is where we will meet and will be the starting point for our bicycle ride). Lunch includes antipasto platters, veggies, fruit and gourmet pizzas. It also includes 2 wine tastings of a local favorite winery of mine.

Then we will hop on the bikes and go about 3 miles to our first winery. We will be there for approx 1 hour and then we will get back on the bikes and go the short distance to the last winery. Because of my relationships with these wineries, there is always opportunity on my tours to meet the winery owners, wine makers and even taste reserve wines from the barrel. Our bike rides are through the vineyards and we are on the main roads as little as possible to get from one winery to the next. They are designed for safety, scenery and ease of transition. Wine tasting fees at both wineries are not included but they are usually $5 and go toward the purchase of any wine at all participating wineries.

After tasting there, I will do a presentation and tasting of a local 120 year old Olive Oil estate that makes varieties of olive oils and 2 flavored balsamic vinegars. Then we will finish with a port and dessert pairing before hopping on the bikes for the quick jaunt back to Campo di Bocce to disperse for the day about 3:30-4:00pm.

People are encouraged to bring their own bicycles. They are not included in the price. Bicycle rentals are $30 per person and that includes a top-of-the-line Trek mountain bike, helmet & delivery to & from Campo di Bocce.
