"Rim Country", an original oil painting by Shampa Chatterjee.  It measures 30x28" and is unframed.

About the Artist.  Painting is a pastime for Shampa Chatterjee, who only began about two years ago.  She works in oils and especially enjoys painting landscapes. 

“RIM COUNTRY” was inspired by the majestic Grand Canyon.  The artist says that she hoped to capture a fraction of the canyon’s grandeur in this painting, and that she had a lot of fun doing it. 

Shampa is an IT professional at American Express and has two sons in Phoenix Children’s Chorus this year.  She says that her boys love this painting and thought that it was something special that they could contribute to the PCC fundraising auction.
