Description

Learn defensive strategies to make informed choices about your personal safety, avoid risk, and escape violence. Nationally certified instructors will teach your choice of R.A.D. for Women/Teens or radKIDS to a group of six to ten people at their facility or at your place of business.

R.A.D. for Women/Teens is for women and girls ages 13 and up.  The 12-hour course includes risk awareness, prevention, reduction, and avoidance as well as realistic self-defense techniques suitable for students of varying abilities, experience, and physical condition. No prior knowledge of self-defense is necessary. Course includes participant manual and lifetime practice and return policy. This course is perfect for a women’s group seeking to empower its members. 

radKIDS is a 10-hour personal safety and empowerment program for children ages 5-12.  This program teaches our youngest citizens to avoid or escape bullying, child abuse, sexual assault and manipulation. Course includes family manual and certificate of completion. This course is perfect for an after-school program seeking to add valuable safety instruction to its curriculum or a group of family and friends seeking to protect their most vulnerable members.

Wendy Vazquez Ernest and Bill Pollock of I Know My Plan, Inc. (IKMP) have been teaching partners for over five years. Pollock brings to the table a law enforcement background with experience in crime prevention. Both hold a variety of current certifications, and have a combined twenty years of safety education experience.  

IKMP envisions a safer tomorrow and believes strongly that all members of society should have personal defense strategies presented to them. IKMP offers self-defense instruction for children, teens, adults and seniors.


The national standard in self defense Instructor Certification, R.A.D. is internationally recognized for programming quality and organizational commitment to excellence.  It is the only self defense program ever endorsed by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA).  The instructional objective of R.A.D. is to develop and enhance the options of self defense, so they may become viable considerations to the woman who is attacked.
