The Tampa Bay Derby Darlins were formed in 2005 and were accepted as a league by the Women's Flat Track Derby Association in 2007. The Darlins have stepped up as Florida's premier roller derby league, with their all-star travel team, the Tampa Tantrums, ranked 7th in the South Central Region.

TBDD has three home teams, a training program for new girls, a practice squad, the Tampa Tantrums all-star team, and the Tampa Bay Bruise Crew B-Team.  Roller derby is officially a force to be reckoned with in Tampa Bay and across the country!
