A registered architect will visit your home and spend an hour with your family listening to your goals, desires, wishes and dreams for your home. The consultation will provide ideas for design and construction projects which will achieve those goals, as well as some basic forms which will assist the home owner in developing projects. Architect will also provide three (3) names of residential architects. Written information is not intended for use as design document or pricing, but will help the home owner focus goals and gain general knowledge of costs and time associated with design and construction projects. Consultation can also include discussion of process (tips for hiring an architect or contractor; how to budget for the projects, including costs of construction and other hidden costs; tips for preparing for life with construction; and discussion of possible duration of construction projects).
