designing inventions and soaring into the solar system. Campers participate in 20 exciting hands-on, science
activities each week and even better they bring the entire completed projects home.

DESTINATION SCIENCE THEMES!

Wild Extreme Physics Fun — all new for 2011

Have you heard? Physics equals FUN! In this new camp program you’ll become a true science superhero. Use your mega-mind powers to explore fizzy soda pop reactions, attempt to conquer the forces of gravity, and solve a mystery in the Wild Animal Adventure Park. Apply your MAD science skills to master all the fun in this all new camp experience!

The Amazing Space Race — all new for 2011

3, 2, 1...LIFTOFF! Calling all Rocket Scientists: Get ready to build and launch your own rocket 1,000 feet into the air, using tree leaves for fuel! You’ll also take home your very own launch system! You’ll prepare for your amazing space mission by building a robot rover, choosing your planetary destination, and then blasting off (safely, of course!). You’ll also create a glow in the dark star window, battle gravity from an explosive splat, and more!

Techno Robot Creators

Robots rule...at least here they do! Spend the week plotting and powering up your very own Mega-bot. Campers will embark on a robot adventure which includes a robot maze race, a robo-artist experience and a camp-invasion battle to see which robot will rule the roost. You’ll also get your hands on electric room alarms, laser spinners, electronic bug listening devices and more!

Busting Myths with Cool Science —back by popular demand!

Fact or fiction? You be the judge! Spend the week discovering what’s real and what’s just real odd by
unearthing the truths behind some wacky science ideas. You’ll test out air-powered cannons, hold electric lightning in the palm of your hand, feel the power of your beating heart, make a giant bubble you could stand in, learn how to turn your room into a laser light show, and and brainy to take with you at the end of the week!
