Hundreds of prayers are written on a paper scroll inside of this prayer wheel. When spun, Buddhists believe it has the same effect as being orally related. Prayer wheels are also used to accumulate wisdom and merit and to purify negativities.  This prayer wheel is decorated with ornate metal work and bright red and blue beads.
