Marilyn Cox is a visual artist from Louisiana who has studios in Southwest Louisiana and Taos, New Mexico.  An award winning painter and mixed media artist, Cox’s work has been recognized and sold extensively, over her 25 years as a painter. Much of the focus of her artistic talents is on wildlife and landscapes, though she also enjoys collages and mixed media work. Cox teaches plein air painting in her studio, “Art Sanctuary” overlooking the marshlands of Southwest Louisiana in Lake Charles.
