Laura Cox began photographing things of interest as a girl with a tiny, cheap camera she received for Christmas one year. Her photographs depict places and events throughout her travels, as she lives a ‘gypsy’ lifestyle, travelling from city to city, country to country, to explore and learn. Though her home is in Austin, Texas, she is a Louisiana girl at heart.  Cox also likes to take special photographs that people have taken themselves, and turn them into something truly artistic to hang as a memory of an event, place, or person.
