Roberto Braida - 'The Sea Rises with Fire' is a Giclee on Canvas from his 2006 collection.

Roberto Braida was born in La Spezia, Italy in 1953, where he now lives and works. When he was 14 years old, he participated in his first show, organized by his teacher Professor Gino Bellani. He studied the techniques of painting, but the death of his father in 1971 forced him to start to work, and Braida signed on as a sailor and began his love affair with the sea.

During this time, he continued his studies. In 1980, he returned to Italy, married, and started painting full-time. In 1988, under the authority of the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Italy and with the cooperation of the Ambassador of The People's Republic of China, he held a sellout exhibition of his works in the prestigious Lerici Castle. He has held numerous exhibitions in Italy and in Europe.
