Tour Itinerary:

Day 1 - DEPARTURE - An overnight flight to Istanbul.

Day 2 - ISTANBUL - Welcome to Istanbul! Transfer to your hotel. This evening, meet your licensed tour guide and fellow travelers for welcome cocktails. Your tour guide will have suggestions about great local restaurants for dinner.

Day 3 - ISTANBUL - The best way to explore such a fabulous city is with an experienced tour guide. Tour the Old City by visiting the Topkapi Palace, St. Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar. Tonight experience an optional dinner with belly-dancer entertainment. (B)

Day 4 - ISTANBUL - Today we will visit the Egyptian Spice Market. Then we take a Bosphorus Cruise Sightseeing Boat Trip *(2 hours). After lunch at a local restaurant, we will drive across the Bosphorus Bridge to reach the highest point of Istanbul called Camlica Hill. Then walk around Uskudar which was anciently known as Chrysopolis meaning "The City of Gold". (B)

Day 5 - GALLIPOLI, CANAKKALE - Today discover the Gallipoli Peninsula. After Gallipoli cross the Dardanalles and overnight in Canakkale. (B,D)

Day 6 - TROY, PERGAMUM, KUSADASI - Explore Homer's Troy, and the site of King Priam's Treasures. Probably the most famous city of classical times - who doesn't know the story of the Trojan Horse. In the afternoon we will visit the hauntingly beautiful ancient city of Pergamum. (B,D)

Day 7 - KUSADASI, EPHESUS - Today we explore the ancient city of Ephesus and Temple of Artemis - one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. We then continue to the House of Virgin Mary. (B,D)

Day 8 - PAMUKKALE - Drive through lush valleys to Pamukkale, which means "Cotton Castle" describing the white lime cascades formed by mineral springs. Visit the ruins of the Roman health spa of Hierapolis.Enjoy a swim in the hotel's thermal pool. (B,D)

Day 9 - APHRODISIAS, ANTALYA - Explore Aphrodisias, the ancient city which was dedicated to "Aphrodite" - the Goddess of Love. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the Mediterranean Sea. (B,D)

Day 10 - PERGE, ASPENDOS - Visit Antalya Regional Archaeological Museum and an orientation tour of the city. In the afternoon, explore the ancient city ruins of Perge and Aspendos. (B,D)

Day 11 - KONYA, CAPPADOCIA - After breakfast we will drive through the mountains to Konya. Visit the tomb of Jalal ad-Din "Rumi". Visit the Mevlana Museum, a 13th century whirling dervish monastery and the historic Agzikarahan Caravanserai on our way to Cappadocia. (B,D)

Day 12 - CAPPADOCIA - Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Cappadocia including Kaymakli Underground City, Soganli Valley, Goreme Open Air Museum. After lunch, visit Sahinefendi - also known as Sobesos - newly discovered mosaic houses & archaeological excavation site. Our tour ends with a visit to Mustafapasa (Sinasos). (B,D)

Day 13 - CAPPADOCIA, ISTANBUL - Take an early morning optional hot-air balloon ride over the breathtaking landscape. Walking in Ihlara Canyon, a "mirage" in the Steps of Anatolia up to Belisirma village, the ancient Peristrema: "Valley of the Sky" along the Melendiz River. After lunch, we will explore Selime, a village with cave houses and a "star wars" like landscape. At the end of the tour, transfer to Kayseri Airport for an evening flight to istanbul. Overnight at Istanbul Airport Hotel. (B)
