Description

Your hostess, Jeannie Mckenzie will reveal the great mysteries of making awesome aged chevre and fantastic feta from fresh goat's milk. In a addition to learning everything you'll need to make yummy cheeses in your own kitchen, you'll have the opportunity to sample other scrumptious Pineheaven Farm creations and visit the goat yard to meet the curious and gentle providers of our amazing milk.

Pineheaven Farm is an educational farm located on the site of the first Montclair farm, built back in 1918. We have a friendly population of bees, chickens and goats as well as a large organic garden. We teach backyard chicken and cheese-making workshops and provide consultation on keeping urban chickens and goats. Volunteers are welcome and we also host school groups and educational tours.
