At Plantation Camp, everyone is welcomed to Family Camp, regardless of age or family makeup.

Once you arrive, everything is included – meals, accommodations, swimming in the pool, canoeing on the lake, hiking in the redwoods, horseback riding, tie dying a t-shirt, everything. The program is run like the traditional summer camp and is relaxed and informal. With the help of a small group of skilled staff, campers select and lead the activities they would most like to do.

Whether you are looking for some quiet time to relax and slow down or want to do an all-day hike to the beach, Plantation is a unique vacation for the entire family.  In both the week and the weekend long stays what you will find is good old-fashioned fun.

Program Overview

Summer Camp, with a distinct family flavor. Families of all constellations gather together at the beginning and end of the summer to enjoy each other and Plantation Farm Camp. Family Camp is a time for the whole family to gather for fun and relaxation, to experience things together or try activities separately, and to share the magic of camp. With the days full of your choice of activities, gourmet farm-fresh meals, and evenings under the stars the possibilities are endless.

Everyone sleeps in a platform tent (two family members per tent). Two or three families will live in the same unit area.

Family Campers who return year after year tell us how time seems suspended and how much they value the special atmosphere that helps create a loving extended family, nourishes the individual, relaxes tensions, deepens relationships, and invigorates them for the coming year.
