NEW OPENING BID! You are bidding on a custom-made Sage VT2 9’6” 4-piece 6-wt. fly rod. The guides are wrapped in purple and pink size A thread. The rod tube has the full CFR Logo engraved on it. The butt cap (end of the rod) has the CFR logo engraved on it. 

The Struble Burl Madrone reel seat and nickel silver winding check match nicely with the hard chrome guides, two stripping guides, and oversized tip-top. This is simply a beautiful rod! The portion just above the grip has not been expoxied yet so that the winner can have the rod personalized. I will then apply the second coat of epoxy to the rod guides also.

This longer 6-weight is perfect for mending while nymph fishing, casting from a kayak, canoe, or float tube, and it can handle trout, panfish, bass, small tarpon, and redfish, all with no problems.
