This package contains 8 flies tied by the late fly tyer Chauncy Lively, including a Wonder Wing. Also included is a copy of "Art of the Trout Fly"which contains a chapter on C. K. Lively, and a copy of "The American Fly Fisher" with an article by Hoagy B. Carmichael about the innovative tier.
Special Instructions
Chauncy Lively never sold a fly. He sometimes traded flies with other tiers or gave them to friends. Since his death his family has donated some of his flies to museums and to charity auctions, but there aren't many C. K. Lively flies out there! They are coveted by collectors.
Chauncy Lively was the author of Chauncy Lively's Fly Box: A Portfolio of Modern Trout Flies and wrote columns on fly-tying for Trout, Fly Tyer, United Fly Tiers Roundtable, Pennsylvania Angler, and Riverwatch.
