Diana Dreman, 23, Miss Boulder County, will go on to be Colorado's representative at the Miss America Pageant which will held on January 14 in Las Vegas.

Diana Dreman's mother, Rebecca King Dreman, was crowned Miss Colorado 1973 and went on to win Miss 

America in 1974. It is the first time, in the Miss America Pageant's 90 years of rich history that the daughter of a former Miss America will compete for that same title.  Diana hopes to be the fourth person from Colorado to wear the Miss America crown.   

Diana Dreman's platform, the American Cancer Society, is very personal for her since her mother was diagnosed with malignant melanoma.   If crowned Miss America, she will take her cancer awareness message nationwide, as well as performing duties as the ambassador for the Children's Miracle Network of Hospitals.
