Every soccer player could use some help with their skills.  Michael Frederick will make sure they master them with three individual training session. 

Currently, Michael Frederick is the Real Colorado Player/Coach for its Colorado Adult Soccer League 1^st Division Men’s Team, Real Colorado Foxes USL PDL Reserve Team Manager, a Youth Skills Coach for Real, and an U10 Option 1 Coach of the Real Footballers, which includes his 9-year-old son Cole, a 4^th-grade student here at Greenwood.  As a teenager, Michael was selected to the U.S. Youth National Team and, after moving from California to Colorado, was a team captain on Cherry Creek High School’s 1980 and 1981 back to back State Championship soccer teams.   He was drafted in the Fall of 1980 during his senior year at Cherry Creek High School by the Denver Avalanche of the Major Indoor Soccer League.  He later attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara and Regis College in Denver and was selected as an All American by both the NCAA and NAIA.  After graduation in 1986, until leaving for law school in 1993, he played for the Denver Kickers Men’s Team, Colorado State Champions during each of those years 1986-1993, U.S. National Amateur Cup Champions in 1986, final 4 in 1987, continued to participate in U.S. Olympic and National Team tryouts as a player, and was also selected to coach Colorado’s U23 team for the Olympic Development trials as well.  From 1993 through 1999, Michael played in Washington, D.C. as a member of the World Bank Men’s Team, Virginia State Amateur Cup Champions 1998-99.  Upon returning to Denver in 1999, Michael initially joined up to play again with his friends at the Denver Kickers.  Since 2001, Michael has enjoyed playing and coaching for Real Colorado, both as a member of the Men’s Open Team as well as with the kids, particularly since his son Cole began giving the ball the boot!
