In the glass, this wine is dark and inky, with aromas of cassis, blackberry, mint and spice. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex and rich with firm, ripe tannins and a long smoky finish."  The William Hill "Bench Blend"  was recently rated 87 of 100 by Robert Parker, who called this vintage "one of the finest Cabernets under this label in over 20 years."  Winery notes, "Our 2006 Bench Blend Cabernet Sauvignon displays opulent red and black fruit aromas and flavors with notes of ripe cherry, brown spice, and sweet vanilla.
