Bid on this 10-inch bowl by Rock Garden Pottery, Roger M. Galuska, of Rochester. The bowl is done in Robin's Egg glaze with a design adapted from the potter’s Polish-American heritage.

The bowl is a high-fired stoneware, so it is microwave- and dishwasher-safe.

Roger etches his designs in free-hand. They are adapted from Polish wood-carvings done in a town called Zakopane (Zah-ko-pah-nyeh) in the Tatra Mountains of southern Poland. Zakopane happens to be near the town where Roger’s own family comes from, and that is the connection to him and his pottery.
