Smash Wine Bar and Restaurant is my go-to restaurant for sharing several plates, from the truffle macaroni and cheese to the "pot tots" (gussied-up tater tots) to soups that change with the season. Everything is delicious, and chef/owner Dana Hammon and her staff treat you like family. The wine list is extensive, and they frequently have tastings with local wineries (check Facebook for their calendar). Smash is just a great neighborhood restaurant: there are many in Seattle, and this one is mine!
