These lovely cards are made from a linoleum block I found last November—unused in my Mother's closet. Oh the things we discover when we snoop!

I carved the design based on the idea—indeed the reality—that All Things Are Connected. A Reindeer holds the earth safely in its antlers, while birds and whales swirl about in cosmic harmony. In each of the cards, a bird in the upper right corner is dusted with gold, illuminating its message of peace.

Each card was hand-printed by me, on recovered construction paper found in the depths of my closet. Colors vary; each of the five cards will have a different and striking color combination. Not pictured are five hand-made envelopes, included for each card.

Sure, the holidays are past, but these beauties will happily store until next winter! Or next Earth Day, if you so choose.
