At Highland Smiles in Denver, CO, we understand that visiting the dentist can be intimidating.  We take special care to create a soothing,  spa-like environment. Dr. Arnold also explains the details of each procedure so you understand your treatment.       

You can rest assured, too, that we use the latest products and techniques to make certain you are as comfortable and relaxed as possible. If you haven’t been to the dentist recently, you’ll be amazed by how quickly and efficiently we can perform most procedures.

For your comfort and well-being, we also encourage you to listen to  music (we have iPods and satellite radio), watch a DVD on a flat-screen TV (if you or your child has a favorite movie, bring it in!) or request a special anesthetic like nitrous oxide.

Highland Smiles accepts most major dental insurance plans. As a patient-centered practice, we will also file insurance claims for you to expedite the process.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, Dr. Kara Arnold has worked in general private practice,  where she has developed a philosophy of treatment that emphasizes patient comfort, outstanding outcomes and teamwork.

Passionate about continuing education, Dr. Arnold is Invisalign certified and regularly attends seminars and clinics as a way to maintain her skills and keep up with the latest advances in the field of dentistry. She is the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships and has volunteered her time for Give Kids a Smile, an organization that provides dental services to at-risk children.

She lives in a Northwest Denver Victorian with her husband and practice manager Phillip Szczytowski. She speaks fluent Spanish.
