It has actually been filmed in a studio and has appeared in a cartoon. It is framed in a blue, contemporary metal frame that measures 15.25 x 13.25 inches, is matted in ivory and blue, and is protected behind plexiglass. On the back, it carries a gold seal: Original Art From Animated Films: Gallery Lainzberg, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The complex process of creating a cell painting begins with the artist, or animator, first making an outline drawing of the character on paper. This pencil outline is then transferred to the front of a sheet of acetate known as a cel.
