Description

The Golden Age of steam railroads goes on in glorious Bucks County, PA...and your family is invited on an unforgettable ride.

Relax as you travel through the rolling hills and valleys of historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and experience first hand the sights, sounds and romance of the steam age.

As you board the New Hope & Ivyland passenger train, you and your loved ones are swept into a scene from the past. Leave your cares behind as you journey into history, learning what rail travel was like for your parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. Enjoy the restored 1920s vintage passenger coaches, antique bar car, authentic steam locomotive and historic diesel locomotive.

Your adventure will take you along the same historic route that was filmed in the 1914 movie series Perils of Pauline. After your ride, pay a visit to the original "witch's hat" New Hope train station, which was once the location of the railroad telegraph operator who sent and received all messages for the town of New Hope, PA. This building has been in operation since 1891.

With this roaring ride, you and your family will agree: the "golden age" is alive and well. All aboard!

This is a Live Event Item.
