From your base at this lovely home in Toulouse explore the south of France and become enchanted with its glories.

You and one guest will stay in a large, luminous room on the ground floor of the home. Enjoy evening barbecues under the beautiful wisteria arbor and walk in the rose-filled garden. You will be only five minutes by subway (or a lovely, easy walk!) to downtown, historic Toulouse.

Timing is flexible: You may coordinate with your host to arrive while she is home (on the top floor) and take advantage of her hospitality, cooking (included) and sight-seeing assistance. Or request a time period while she is on vacation and enjoy your visit in total privacy. The winning bidder is responsible for all transport to and from Toulouse, France. Travel should take place by the end of 2012.

For Maitripa's auction, I offer a room for two people, with use of the kitchen, bathroom, and garden. Please, no children.  

I offer to cook and only request reimbursement for food and cooking supplies.  Coffee and tea will be offered and internet is available in the house.

If I am in town, I will be happy to act as a guide. 

It is my wish that the people who win this donation will be honest and independent.  This is especially true if at the time they come to Toulouse one of my teachers is in France giving teachings.  If I am not available to act as a guide and the winners desire a guide, I will find a friend who can help.

You can rent a car if I'm busy (I know a cheap rental shop) to visit the farthest places. And we have a non profit association where you can rent a bike for the week for really cheap (6 € per week).

We have the Metro close the house with buses that go in all directions.  Everything you need to get around is nearby.  But from the house you can visit Toulouse using just your feet !!!
