Description

Venerable thangka of Guru Shakyamuni Buddha. Painted in Nepal in the 1990s and framed with a custom dark blue brocade border. Unusual natural earth pigment color treatment results in a mood both subtle and subdued.  Color theme will fit with any décor and in a manner that cause ease in yourself and in the minds of all visitors.  Bone ends of the bottom rod are unique and originally acquired by the donor in Lhasa, Tibet.


From the collection of a longtime student of Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche.  Thangka blessed by Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Yangsi Rinpoche, and many other great practitioners.
