Description
Irving Fryar, an All-American for UNL in 1983, played alongside Heisman Trophy winner Mike Rozier and Heisman finalist Turner Gill. He was the first wide receiver to be drafted first overall in the NFL Draft when the New England Patriots made him the top selection of the 1984 NFL Draft. He played a total of 255 games in his career and made the Pro Bowl five times.
