This lovely 4 gallon stoneware butter churn was made during the 1890s in upstate New York, possibly the Troy, NY, area.  It stands 17" high and includes a wooden stasher and lid, and will be a charming addition to a country home decor.  Appraised at 2009 at the Society's annual "What's It Worth? Antiques Appraisal" event.
