Spend 2 nights in a 2-bedroom cabin on the Santa Maria Ranch, a National Register Historic District, and enjoy 2 days of some of the best fly fishing in Colorado!

The Santa Maria Ranch is 2,800-acres and is bisected by an idyllic section of the Middle Fork of the South Platte River. Extensive stream restoration work in 2006 included the construction of many new fish structures and erosion control measures. As a result, we have significantly increased the fish holding capacity of this property. You can view more information on fishing at the ranch here.

The cabin, located about 100 yards from the river, has a king-size bed and a full size bed and can fit up to 4 people. It also has a living room, kitchen and full bathroom.

Park regulations only permit 3 people to fish, but for those not interested in fishing, there are plenty of other outdoor attractions including several 14,000 foot peaks nearby. Other nearby points of interest include rafting on the Arkansas River in Buena Vista and Flourisant Fossil Beds.

The ranch is located just outside of Hartsel, CO, about 2 hours Southwest of Denver.

Special Instructions

Package includes fishing for 3 people each day (no additional fishers can be added)

Elevation is close to 9,000 feet.

Meals are not included; grocery stores and restaurants are about 30 minutes away.

All fishers will have to purchase Colorado Fishing License for about $9 / day.

Towels are not included.

Reservations are available for weekdays only
