Llama Backpacking Trip in Wyoming

Item Number: 177
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Bid on a chance to take 4 llamas on a 6 day / 5 night back-country trip in the Wind River Mountain Range! Whether you want to climb some of the tallest Wyoming peaks, traverse 300 year-old glaciers, fish the mountain streams for trout, or just enjoy the remote wilderness, the Wind Rivers have it all.
Backpacking with llamas is a unique way to experience the backcountry. Llamas are gentle and enduring by nature, making them wonderful trekking companions for extended hiking trips, families with young children and old knees! Llamas average 10 miles per day, carry up to 60 lbs of gear. Peak season for hiking is from mid-July to early August, and we will help you plan your 2012 summer trip from our base in Pinedale, Wyoming. (Please submit any questions about this post through this webpage, and NOT directly to The Great Outdoor Shop.)

Winner will need to bring their own camping equipment.
