An initial acupuncture session at Manchester Acupuncture and Herbs. Your first treatment will take about an hour when a detailed evaluation of your health history and main complaints will be taken by Marc or Lisa. Following this, hair thin, disposable needles are inserted on various points on the body (you may feel tingling, warmth or a feeling of movement in the areas of insertion). The needles are retained for 20-30 minutes, most people find this time very relaxing. Following treatment, Marc or Lisa will discuss diet, exercise and herbal supplementation with you, as well as the recommended course of treatment.
