L. Magnin first started out as a high-end shop selling lotions and baby clothes as early as the 1870's. It became a California-based high fashion and specialty goods luxury department store that was eventually bought out by Bullock's in 1944 and then later by Macy's in the early 80's. This particular piece features gold hardware, front slit pockets, back zippered pocket, dual interior compartments zipped by a signature L. Magnin gold piece, and shoulder straps. This bag is used and in excellent condition. The body shows no significant markings and the interior lining is stain-free.
