This lot contains two very special collector’s items: a Jim Henson Special Edition Action Figure, no longer in production, and an exclusive photo. The action figure is based on a Jim Henson puppet designed and built by Bonnie Erickson – this puppet currently resides at the Center for Puppetry Arts in one of our exclusive Jim Henson special exhibits. The photo is from Erickson’s personal collection and features her with Jim Henson and the puppet. Both the action figure box and the photo are signed by Erickson.

Erickson’s accomplishments include working as Design Director for The Jim Henson Company, Creative Consultant for Fraggle Rock, and Special Creative Consultant to Jim Henson. During her tenure with Henson she was the designer and builder of such classic Muppet characters as Statler and Waldorf (the heckling old men in the balcony) and Miss Piggy. She currently serves as Executive Director for the Jim Henson Legacy. Away from Henson, Erickson’s “spokes-characters” have appeared internationally in commercials, promotional products and print advertising campaigns for AT&T, McDonalds, Nutella and others.
