Enjoy a Basic Safety and Belay Lesson for two at Vertical Endeavors!
This introductory lesson is designed to introduce newcomers to the exciting sport of rock climbing. The lesson covers knot tying, belaying, rope management skills, the use of technical equipment, and climbing commands. Emphasis is placed on the skills needed to climb and belay in a controlled environment. With approval of the instructor, participants are welcome to stay after the lesson to practice climbing with backup belayer.
Vertical Endeavors is an Indoor Rock Climbing Facility and has four different locations in Illinois and Minnesota! (The closest location is in Warrenville, IL--about 20 minutes from Wheaton's campus)

Special Instructions
Participants must be ages 14 and older. Offered Mondays 7-9pm and Saturdays Noon-2pm, advance registration is required.
