About the Artist
Ros is a graduate of The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She also taught drawing and painting there for over thirty years. In more recent years, she has inspired many artists in the New England area teaching drawing and painting at The South Shore Art Association, The Duxbury Art Association, and The Cape Cod Art Association.
Ros is member of the prestigious Copley Society of Art, the oldest art association in America, where she holds the title of Master Painter. Ros' work is exhibited at the Josh Kligerman Gallery in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; La Galleria Uno in Puerto Vallerta, Mexico; the Judy Rotenberg Gallery in Boston, the Powers Gallery in Acton, MA, and the Oceanside 17 Gallery in Hull. The recipient of numerous local and national art awards, Ros has held dozens of solo and juried group exhibitions during her distinguished career.
Recent awards include the Dorothy Palmer Painting Award (2009) from the South Shore Art Center, as well as the Calendar Cover Award and the Katherine M. Wolff Memorial Award for Floral Composition (2010) from the North River Arts Association.
