Winner receives a $50 gift certificate to Ronnie Grisanti Restaurant

The Grisanti name has been the standard of Italian restaurants in Memphis since 1909. As a third generation restaurateur, Rinaldo Grisanti carries on the legacy of his much celebrated family by offering his perfected culinary art form of cucina tuscano in his namesake restaurant.

Ronnie learned the secrets of crafting elegant yet hearty Italian masterworks first as a teen working at his grandfather’s and father’s restaurant in downtown Memphis and later, after being certified as Chef and Sommelier by the American Culinary Federation.

Soon thereafter, Ronnie launched his own now-famous ristorante on Union Avenue in 1978 before eventually settling in his current location at Poplar and Humes.

Long-time devotees of Ronnie Grisanti’s will recognize and relish decades-old menu items like Elfo’s Special, created by his father and featured in the world famous Mary and Vincent Price Cookbook. But all comers will be delighted by the carefully chosen selection of pastas, steaks, seafood and other selections prepared with the skill and love worthy of the name Grisanti.
