Located at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park is ecologically diverse, with groundwater forests, grassy plains, and the alkaline Lake Manyara itself. The famous Serengeti National Park, known for its annual wildebeest migration, attracts visitors from around the world. As you make your way westward, you?ll visit the Olduvai Gorge, commonly referred to as the “Cradle of Mankind” because it is where remains of early hominids and fossilized hominid footprints estimated to be around 3.7 million years old were found. Continue on to the Ngorongoro Crater for your tenth game drive, where you will have your best chance of seeing the rare Black Rhinoceros. Views from the rim of this 2,000 foot deep crater are stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset!

Passport required for travel outside the U.S. Travel is valid through 12/31/2011. Vacation departures are date specific and are subject to itinerary modifications. Land package cancellation policy: 7 days - 1 day prior to departure will be subject to a 50% of total price cancellation penalty. 21 days - 8 days prior to departure will be subject to a 30% of total price cancellation penalty, 75 days - 22 days prior to departure will be subject to a 20% of total price cancellation penalty.
