This botique wine is made from 100% 2008 Meek Merlot.  Meek Family Estate vineyards are planted on shallow rocky soils, high above the Yakima River and slope gently to the south. This unique combination of soil, elevation and slope produces grapes with exceptional complexity, concentration and intense fruit flavors. 

This wine spent 18 months in 1/3 New French Oak, 1/3 Once Used French Oak and 1/3 Once Used American Oak.  This medium bodied wine is deep red in color.  On the nose you get big fruits featuring plum, blackberries, and cherry along with some earthy components.  To taste it is a smooth wine with great balance of fruit and earth with  a touch of currant and tannins on the finish.  Drink now.
