About the artist...

"My artwork is considered realistic, but painterly"

I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a B.F.A degree and  M.F.A. equivalency. Then, I went on to teach art for 18 years. When I ended my very rewarding teaching career  I returned to my life’s passion and began painting full time. I continue to study and paint with many inspirational people. Among others, one special person was Ann Didusch Schuler, a master artist, an outstanding teacher and a great inspiration to me.
