The La Paloma Charm is a half inch wide. La Paloma is Spanish for "the dove". The dove with an olive branch is a symbol of peace and reconciliation that comes from the story of Noah's ark. When the rains of the flood stopped, Noah sent out three doves. The second dove brought back an olive branch to show that the waters were receding.
