You will receive an hour-long introductory lesson and analysis of your singing voice. Dr. Oosting will assess your technique including breathing, tone production, and articulation and tailor your session to your strengths. 

A professional opera and concert singer and chair of the Voice Department at the John J. Cali School of Music, Montclair State University Tenor Stephen Oosting has been hailed as an interpreter of Britten and Bach, Strauss and Mozart, Puccini and Wagner. He has had a long career in opera, where he has sung more than forty leading roles including the title roles in Peter Grimes and Albert Herring, Siegmund in Die Walküre and Loge in Das Rheingold. His concert performances include many performances of the Bach Evangelists and the Britten Serenade, and  has appeared frequently as a recitalist in the song cycles of Schubert, Schumann and Britten
